Mixed, not Confused

Let Christ transform the frustration of cultural
in-betweenness into
your multicultural superpower

If you're a second-generation immigrant, of mixed race, in a mixed marriage, or a Third Culture Kid, you might be tired of people asking...

"Where are you from?"
"No, where are you really from?"
"Why don't you speak better Spanish (Swahili, etc.)?"
"How do you spell that weird name?"
"Are you one of those illegals?"

At the center, not the periphery

Second-generation immigrants often refer to themselves as hyphens because others describe them with terms like Mexican-hyphen-American. Believing that their primary identity comes from their ethnicity, citizenship, language, education, and wealth leads to feelings of in-betweenness and inadequacy.
Members of The Hyphenated Community believe that God intentionally designed every facet of your being. You can discover peace and acceptance through hearing God's Word and the stories of other hyphens. In God's Kingdom, mixed heritage believers are not peripheral, but are at the very center of God's plan.
