Messages of belonging and hope for Christians of mixed heritage
At the center, not the periphery
Second-generation immigrants often refer to themselves as hyphens because others describe them with terms like Mexican-hyphen-American. Believing that their primary identity comes from their ethnicity, citizenship, language, education, and wealth leads to feelings of in-betweenness and inadequacy.
Members of The Hyphenated Community believe that God intentionally designed every facet of your being. You can discover peace and acceptance through hearing God's Word and the stories of other hyphens. In God's Kingdom, mixed heritage believers are not peripheral, but are at the very center of God's plan.
